Suggested Packing Lists

The trip is only ten days long, and packing can be a challenge. On the one hand, you do not want to bring too many things or else you will get weighed down schlepping your stuff from hotel to hotel. On the other hand, there will be very few opportunities to wash your clothes, so you definitely do not want to pack too little.

We recommend that you bring one main piece of luggage (duffel bags or rolling bags) and one carry-on bag or backpack. Be sure to bring at least one change of clothes and toiletries in your carry-on bag just in case your main luggage gets delayed.

More than any other piece of advice about clothing, remember to bring comfortable walking shoes. Good sneakers are fine; you do not need to purchase special hiking boots just for this trip. Clogs or other slip-on shoes are not suitable for daily touring.
The weather in Israel will vary. The temperature can vary from the 30s in winter to as high as the 80s-90s and above in summer. Click here before the trip to keep updated with the weather in Israel. In order to make a suggested packing list easier for you, we have separated and have 2 packing lists, one for summer trips, and one for winter trips.
