When you get the insurance, we suggest you buy the individual policy, instead of one for few people. The cost is almost the same, but it will be easier for us to keep track of your insurance if it's only on your name, or in case one of you cancels. The price of the insurance will ultimately depend on your age, state of residency, what plan do you choose, and whether you want to insure any extra travel costs. Typically, insurance prices are $30-$50 for your 10-day group trip with us.
The entire process takes no more than ten minutes. It is fast, cheap and easy. Please, have you credit card with you, when you order the insurance.
It’s important to do it thru this link, and not by any other way, because this way, you have only 3 Travel Guard plans that are best for our trips, and we automatically get notifications that you purchased the insurance plan.

If you have a medical insurance that covers you in Israel (it's you responsibility to call insurance provider & check with them whether they cover in Israel), we still advice you to get Travel Guard insurance. This will ensure sure that any medical expenses, flight cancellation/interruption, baggage loss/damage, and much more will be covered. Your current health/homeowners/credit card insurance often does not cover the many potential issues that can occur on a trip. Be sure to protect yourself as these are issues that occur often. It is a small investment for big savings.
Why Travel Insurance Is so Important?
As we said before, we strongly advice those who have their own medical coverage in Israel still get a Travel Guard plan because we believe the Travel Insurance is a very important and here are the reasons why:
There are hundreds of circumstances that could cause you to cancel your trip, return home early or even worse, force you to seek emergency medical treatment while traveling. To demonstrate the importance of purchasing travel insurance, here are 5 common examples of what could go wrong. Incidentally, all are covered by a Travel Guard travel insurance policy:
- It's 10 p.m. and you arrive at the airport in your city for a connecting flight to New York, only to find that your flight has been cancelled. Who will help you to get to New York?
- Your first visit to Israel, and your passport and wallet are stolen. Where do you turn for emergency cash, and how will you get your passport replaced?
- If your parent becomes seriously ill and you choose to cancel your trip, what happens to your non-refundable deposits?
- You arrive in New York from Israel but your luggage doesn't. If it's lost, who will help you find it? If it's delayed, who will pay for your necessities? If it's stolen, who will pay to replace it?
